Pirates have been a popular Halloween costume for as long as I can remember. Then, Disney brought out the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in 2003 and its subsequent sequels. Character costumes of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Angelica, and Captain Barbossa started showing up.
The films were so popular, Disney even changed Adventureland’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in the Magic Kingdom by adding Jack Sparrow (oh, forgive me, CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow) and Captain Barbossa, who is now on the deck of the pirate ship, The Black Pearl.

Who is your favorite pirate either the movies or the attraction?
