Sleeping well at Disney World can be harder than you think…and this helped more than I expected!

Between early mornings, busy hotel hallways, and sharing space with family, getting truly restful sleep on vacation isn’t always easy. We tried bringing a tiny sound machine with us on our latest Disney World trip, and it turned out to be a total game-changer!
I have to be honest, I never really thought I was a sound machine person. I’d heard people swear by them for sleep, especially while traveling, but I always assumed it was one of those things that was nice to have, not something that would actually make a big difference.

And then I brought a Dreamegg sound machine with me to Disney World.
After trying it out for a few nights in our Disney World hotel room, I completely understand the hype now. It ended up being one of the most unexpectedly helpful things I packed, and it genuinely made my trip feel a little easier and a lot more restful.

Truth be told, these babies are not something you fit into one solo category. They’re for anyone who wants a more peaceful sleep or nap while traveling, sure, but there are so many more uses beyond that. If you’re staying in a busy hotel, sharing a room with family, traveling with kids (especially the smallest kind that need to nap through the day), or even just someone who has trouble falling asleep in a new environment, this is such a simple way to make your space feel calmer. I especially think it’s a great idea for Disney World’s value hotels, where you might hear more hallway noise or early-morning activity that you’d care to.
Is it worth the money? For me, absolutely YES! The Dreamegg isn’t grossly expensive on its own, comes in bundle options with different colors, and can even be purchased with a little travel case. I’m already thinking it would make a really great gift for new parents, college students, frequent travelers, or anyone who could use better, sounder sleep.

What impressed me most was how much it offers for something so small. It fits in the palm of your hand, can be used plugged in or on battery, and the battery lasted all night for me without needing to charge. It also has 35 volume levels, which makes it easy to find a setting that’s comfortable and not overwhelming.

There are 16 different sound options, too! Not just basic white noise, but different fan sounds, rain, waterfalls, birds, soundscapes, and even lullabies. It also has a timer feature you can set for 30, 60, or 90 minutes, or you can leave it running until you turn it off in the morning. And it charges with a USB-C plug, which is a nice little convenience when you’re already packing enough cords.
What did I like about it? Honestly…everything. I loved how portable it was, how excited my kids were to try it, and how much better we all slept with it on. It helped block out little noises and made the room feel more relaxing at night.

If I had to mention one small downside, the buttons can be a little tricky to press with long nails — but that’s a very minor thing, and it didn’t affect how well the product itself actually worked.
I really think it’s one of those small items that can make a big difference on your trip, especially if good sleep is important to you while traveling. It made us feel more rested, and I would absolutely bring it again. Overall, this is an easy 5 out of 5 for me — a simple, affordable product that did exactly what it promised and made our Disney trip a little more comfortable.
In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the latest Disney deals, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for more!
