While we knew this popular Disney World experience would return in early 2026, we now have an official OPENING date. We finally know when the Garden View Lounge – Tea Experience will be reopening!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been undergoing a major refurbishment, including a lobby transformation and the addition of a lobby bar, The Perch. Now, it is almost time for the tea room to reopen!
The Garden View Lounge — Tea Experience is officially reopening on March 19th, 2026. Reservations will be opening on February 19th, 2026, so mark your calendars now! We have been waiting a long time for the tea room to reopen, and it is finally happening! We are only freaking out a bit over here. We have already marked every calendar we own to make sure we don’t miss snagging a reservation.
The Garden View Lounge will feature touches inspired by Alice in Wonderland, and guests will enjoy small bites and a selection of teas during the tea experience.
We are SO excited for the return of this experience at Disney World!

I would need to know more about what exactly you get for the cost. I mean, for me, a cup or two of tea, a couple of tea sandwiches and a couple of cookies or tea cakes, wouldn’t be worth what they are charging. We’ll have to see.
