This EPCOT festival drink comes with a secret code — and a souvenir!

Artgarita for EPCOT Festival of the Arts

At EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, creativity doesn’t stop at the canvas or the plate. One of this year’s most talked-about drinks blends bold flavors, artistic flair, and a secret ordering phrase that makes the experience feel just a little more special and might be its strongest version offered yet.

EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts always brings a few surprises, but this year, one of the most intriguing debuts isn’t just about what’s in the cup — it’s how you order it!

Festival of the Arts!

Enter the Artgarita, a limited-edition drink available beginning January 16th through February 23rd, the duration of the festival…but only if you know the secret.

The Artgarita

To order it, you’ll need to say the magic words to the Cast Member serving you: “DOM SENT ME.” Once you do, you’ll be handed a margarita that feels very on-brand for Festival of the Arts that’s equal parts creative, layered, and a little experimental.

You’ll need to say the secret code to order

The Artgarita is made with LALO blanco high-proof tequila, honeydew liqueur, coconut extract, and fresh lime juice, then topped with cold foam cream and finished with a watermelon-cherry salt rim. The first tip we can offer you for this one is to stir it. The tequila definitely settles toward the bottom, and once everything is mixed together, the flavors come through much more evenly.

Sweet and tangy

Taste-wise, this drink leans tart and tequila-forward right out of the gate. The lime juice brings that classic margarita bite, and the salt helps anchor it in familiar territory, but then the melon notes start to shine through on the mid-to-back end of each sip. The honeydew tastes more like a general melon flavor rather than distinctly sweet, and the coconut stays subtle (more of a background note than a spotlight).

The real standout here is the cold foam cream. It adds a sweet, tangy, almost dessert-like element that softens the tequila and keeps the drink interesting enough that you want to keep sipping just to figure it out. It’s layered, a little puzzling, and honestly kind of fun for your taste buds.

Tequila forward with a melon zest

The drink itself is green, sprinkled with tiny edible gold star flakes (they’re subtle, so don’t blink), and served in a souvenir plastic cup designed by artist Dom Corona himself. The artful expression in the cup is a big upgrade from last year’s version, and this year’s take feels more in line with the festival cups we know and love, featuring paintbrushes, stars, easels, and paint tubes in soft pastel pinks, yellows, and greens.

Dom Corona designed the souvenir cup

Did we enjoy it? Yes, we actually liked it more than last year’s version flavor-wise, and it feels high-quality and thoughtfully crafted. If you enjoy tequila-forward drinks and like trying something unique, it’s worth a try at least once. If you prefer sweeter, fruit-heavy cocktails, this one may not be your favorite, but it’s made our list as one of the more interesting sips at this year’s Festival of the Arts.

And hey…ordering with a secret code always makes it taste a little better.
