Disney World has a habit of surprising longtime fans all the time.

There is always something new to discover, and some experiences stay hidden until you stumble upon them. One of those hidden gems has been Sangria University at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, which has built a big following over the years. If you love learning something fun while sipping something delicious, you will want to know about the major change arriving this weekend, December 13th.
Sangria University Moves to a New Home
Sangria University has been a quiet favorite for many Disney adults because it’s unlike anything else around the resort. The class gives you a look into the history of sangria and teaches you exactly how the in-house varieties at Coronado Springs are made.

You taste four different sangrias, enjoy a light appetizer, and then create your own signature blend. It is the kind of experience that feels both relaxing and special, which is why regulars try to book it every trip.

The big change happening this weekend is the location. Until now, Sangria University has been held at Three Bridges Bar and Grill on Saturdays and Sundays.

This weekend marks the first official sessions in its new home at Toledo Tapas, Steak & Seafood. This restaurant sits at the top of the Gran Destino Tower, which means the entire experience is moving indoors and gaining a more elevated setting.
What This Means for Your Visit
The move into Gran Destino Tower puts Sangria University in a beautiful and air-conditioned space with sweeping views.

This could make the class feel more polished while still keeping its laid-back vibe. Disney has not said that the content of the class itself will change, so you can still expect the same combination of storytelling, tasting, and hands-on mixing that regular guests love.

Another important update is the addition of more availability. Instead of one class per day, Toledo will now host two classes every Saturday and Sunday. If you have ever tried to snag a reservation during a busy season, you know how fast the spots disappear. Doubling the number of sessions could make it much easier to fit this experience into your weekend plans.
Pricing and What to Expect If You Do Not Drink
The class price remains between 69 and 79 dollars per person, depending on the date. That cost applies to all guests, including those under 21 and anyone who does not drink alcohol. Instead of sangria, they receive a non-alcoholic flight that keeps them part of the tasting portion without feeling left out. Disney has kept this structure the same in the new location, so the experience remains inclusive.

This setup has actually been a positive for many mixed-age groups and families because everyone can participate without needing separate plans. It also makes the class a solid choice for people who want the fun of a workshop without the pressure of drinking.
Why This Change Matters
Three Bridges Bar and Grill has always been a picturesque outdoor location, but it is also fully open to the elements. That means heat, humidity, or unexpected weather could make things a little less comfortable. Moving to Toledo removes that risk entirely. Guests will have a climate-controlled environment and an indoor setting that feels like a destination on its own.

Gran Destino Tower is quite a popular spot for guests who appreciate a more modern and refined aesthetic, and bringing Sangria University into that environment could raise its profile and make it feel like a signature offering rather than a hidden secret.
Should You Book It Now?
If Sangria University has been on your list, this weekend is a great time to check it out. The new location offers a fresh twist without taking away the charm of the original experience. With more classes per day and a polished setting, it may become even harder to grab a spot once word gets out.

We will keep watching for any additional updates or tweaks as this transition settles in. Want to see Sangria University in action? Watch our video below!
