A massive change is coming to a popular attraction in EPCOT in 2026!
A little while back, Disney announced that Soarin’ Around the World at EPCOT would be getting a re-theme in 2026. We now have the details for this new ride overlay — shall we take a look?!
Yes, 2026 is going to be a big year at Disney World, with numerous new attraction changes and additions to the parks. Did you also know that 2026 is a significant year for the U.S.? 2026 will mark the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. So, to celebrate the milestone, Disney has something big coming.
Disney recently announced it would be changing Soarin’ Around the World to Soarin’ Across America, as a part of “Disney Celebrates America,” a company-wide celebration commemorating this milestone anniversary of the United States.
The ride will be the immersive flight experience we all know, except it will be across new scenic vistas across America. The ride will officially take off on this all-new American adventure at Walt Disney World by Memorial Day 2026!

Disney just announced that the official dates for the 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be March 4th through June 1st. The festival will feature gorgeous Disney topiary displays inspired by your favorite Disney characters. You’ll also see lush gardens and landscapes across the park.
Oh, and can’t forget about the mouth-watering food and beverage options offered from booths around the entire park.

I’d like to see all Soarin versions shown. I’m not sure how many theatres they have for Soarin (2?), but they could have different versions in each theatre and you could be sent to different versions in a random way or they could show different versions at different times of day.One of the things I am very grateful for is in France they changed Impressions de France to the Beauty and the Beast Sing a Long,but they kept Impressions in the evening. So something similar could be done.
That sounds like a great idea to me! I want to see the new Soarin show, but also see the original version again also!
