A Popular Lounge Just CHANGED Its Hours at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

One of Disney World’s most popular lounges — the Beauty and the Beast-themed Enchanted Rose — has changed its operating hours.

As of November 24th, the lounge — located at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa — will be open from 12 PM to 11 PM each day. Previously, the Enchanted Rose opened at 1 PM, meaning that the popular spot will now be available for an extra hour each day.

Themed after the live-action adaptation of the classic fairytale, Enchanted Rose offers a menu of appetizers and drinks in four unique environments that evoke the film’s production design, including an outdoor patio space reminiscent of the Beast’s castle’s patio, a formal library that “showcases classical baroque designs and French furnishings” and a “whimsical garden room” that represents the forest.

The change in Enchanted Rose’s operating hours comes on the heels of the opening of The Perch, the Grand Floridian’s long-awaited lobby lounge, which began operation earlier this month.

Beyond lounges, the Grand Floridian is also gearing up for Christmas, with decorations also appearing in the hotel’s grand lobby.

However, one Christmas element that’s not present this year? The iconic gingerbread house, which is absent, thanks to construction. This long-term refurbishment process has been going on for a while, and Disney is still warning guests that “construction may be visible during daytime hours in select areas. While Guests may notice changes to paths of travel, all dining and other amenities remain available.”
