MASSIVE REVIEW: We Tried Every Food Booth at Disney’s Festival of Holidays

A popular festival is BACK at Disney California, and we had to get our hands on all the food and beverage offerings!

Making Spirits Bright

We’re here at the Festival of Holidays experiencing EVERYTHING at this festive event! The festival runs from November 14th, 2025, through January 7th, 2026, and features tons of festival-themed merch, incredible live entertainment, and plenty of new and returning festival food! The eats (and sips) are the big draw here, and we’ve got tons of reviews coming your way!

Merry Mashups — 4/5

Merry Mashup

At Merry Mashups, we had the returning Holiday Mash Bowl made with Chicken, cheddar mashed potatoes, and turkey gravy with cranberry stuffing crunch for $9.25. Last year, this tasted a bit too salty for us, but this year, it was PERFECT. It’s a combination that basically gives you a holiday meal in a bowl. All the ingredients combine well, and this is one of those dishes we’ll be returning to this booth for.

Holiday Mash Bowl

Merry Mashups also debuted a new dessert this year, the Holiday M&M’S Éclair filled with milk chocolate mousse and topped with whipped ganache and M&M’S Milk Chocolate Minis for $7.75. We’ve got a warning about this first: bring Wet Wipes. The frosting on this will stain your hands, teeth, and anything it comes into contact with. However, it’s also light and tasty, and we loved the chocolate filling inside, as well as the M&Ms that add some texture.

Holiday M&M’s Eclair

To drink, we ordered the non-alcoholic Tropical Holiday Punch made with pineapple, orange, and lemon juices, blue raspberry syrup, and coconut purée, garnished with a blue raspberry gummy candy for $9. The strongest flavor in this drink is the coconut, making it sweet and refreshing. You’ll need to love coconut to enjoy it, though.

Tropical Holiday Punch

On the boozy side of things, we also got the new Blue Tropical Cocktail made with rum, pineapple, orange, and lemon juices, blue raspberry syrup, and coconut purée, garnished with a blue sugar-coated pineapple wheel and a dark rum float priced at $18.50. For that price, you’ll be happy to know that this has a lot of rum in it, and that’s mostly what it tastes like. Stir it up before you drink it, and you might get a hint of those other flavors, but this is almost like drinking straight rum.

Blue Tropical Cocktail

The Berry Pomegranate Paloma is a returning item, although it was at a different booth in 2024. For $19.25, you get a drink made with Tequila, blueberry purée, lime, cranberry, and pomegranate juices, and agave syrup topped with Minute Maid Aguas Fresca and garnished with an orange wheel and a chile-lime rim. Forget everything but the tequila, though, because that’s about all we could taste.

Brews & Bites — 3/5

Brews & Bites

The Chorizo Queso Fundido is back this year at Brews & Bites for $8. This vegetarian dish is made with Impossible Chorizo and is served with tortilla chips. However, you only get about 6 chips, which is not enough for the large cup of queso you get. The cheese dip, though, is creamy and full of flavor.

Chorizo Queso Fundido

The Cookies and Cream Hazelnut Hot Cocoa is back, too (although this is a new booth for it). It’s $7 for the non-alcoholic version or $19 with Irish whiskey. It’s Joffrey’s hot cocoa with cookies and cream flavors, melted chocolate, hazelnut purée, and Irish cream syrup, topped with whipped cream. It’s fun and sweet with just a touch of cookie and hazelnut flavor. When the whipped cream melts into the drink, it gets even creamier and sweeter.

We also grabbed the Festive Beer Flight for $19.50.

Four beers in one!

You get four beers, including the Garage Brewing Co. Churro Ale, which really does have a churro scent and flavor. It’s unique and different, but we liked it.

Churro Ale

The Brewery X Apricot Shhhwheat Ale is smooth, fruity, and full of wheat flavor.

Apricot Shhhwheat Ale

The Unsung Brewing Co. Chocolate Snowball Blonde Ale might taste like a regular beer at first, but you get a hint of chocolate as it goes down.

Chocolate Snowball Blonde Ale

Finally, the Study Break Peppermint Mocha Hard Seltzer might be the most unique beer at the festival. It’s very green and tastes minty with a hint of chocolate. It’s fun to try, but we don’t think we’d get it again.

Favorite Things — 4/5

Favorite Things

The Braised Pork Belly Adobo has returned this year. It is served with garlic rice, and you can grab it for $9.75. The pork belly is tender and full of flavor. When you pair it with garlic rice and crunchy chicharron, you get a wonderful array of flavors and textures. It is a delicious savory option, and we are happy to see it back at the festival this year!

Braised Pork Belly Adobo

At Favorite Things, you can also find the Sticky Toffee Pudding Macaron! This adorable Mickey-shaped macaron costs $9. It is a chocolate macaron filled with vanilla buttercream, date cake, and salted toffee sauce. Not only is it super cute, but it also tastes great. The buttercream is thick and has a rich vanilla flavor. You don’t taste the date cake very much, and the chocolate macarons tasted a bit artificial. However, the salted toffee sauce adds a fantastic caramel flavor.

To drink, you can grab a new item at the booth this year. The Winter Citrus New York Sour is available for $18.50. It features bourbon, aperol, grapefruit juice, lime juice, a “winter citrus syrup,” a sweet & sour mix, and is garnished with a float of red wine.

Winter Citrus New York Sour

The drink was sweet and refreshing, and reminded us a bit of a margarita with its strong citrus flavors. We didn’t taste much bourbon in this drink, but you can taste the red wine in the aftertaste. Citrus is definitely the dominant flavor, but you also get hints of red wine.

Holiday Duets — 4/5

Holiday Duets

The Savory Kugel Mac & Cheese is back again for this year’s festival, made with herb breadcrumbs, sour cream, and chives, and priced at $8.50. Last year, we enjoyed this dish and found it to be super creamy but light on the sour cream taste.

Savory Kugel Mac & Cheese

Once again, the dish was very creamy. The sour cream was a standout flavor, and the bread crumbs added a nice crunch to the dish — the blending of the soft and crunchy textures was so satisfying. Overall, a nice dish!

This booth is for cheese lovers!

The Al Pastor Mac & Cheese is brand-new this year with tortilla crumble and cilantro for $9. We’re calling this a best of the fest item! The dish had a lot of flavor, as well as a bit of a kick, but it wasn’t too spicy — more like a good spice. There was quite a bit of meat, and they were in generous chunks. The dish also had great texture. The Mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. The one thing we didn’t notice at all was the cilantro.

Al Pastor Mac & Cheese

If you order the flight, you can taste every new beer in one package! Trumer Brewery Doppelgänger Northern Lager was a fruity lager with a little bit of a bitter aftertaste. The Trademark Brewing Perfect Gentleman West Coast IPA was our favorite of the four beers. It had hints of grapefruit and pineapple. This beer was also more on the bitter side.

Holiday Beer Flight

The Great Notion Brewing Northleft Hazy IPA had a hazy, thicker texture. We were picking up citrus notes. It looked different than the other three. Lastly, but not least, is the Kern River Brewing Co. Winter IPA This one was our least favorite among the four. It had citrus and floral notes, with an earthy taste.

A Twist on Tradition –4/5

We grabbed the Holiday Turkey Leg with cranberry sauce for $16.75. It’s literally just a regular turkey leg that you get at the park, but with a side of standard canned cranberry sauce. It’s good cranberry sauce, but you’re essentially paying for a side of cranberry sauce.

Holiday Turkey Leg

Next up, we ordered the Beef Brisket Slider, returning from a different booth. It came with smoked onions and horseradish ketchup on a pretzel roll for $9.50. This one tastes much better than it looks. It’s a generous portion of brisket, and a perfect amount of onions. It also wasn’t too heavy on the horseradish ketchup. The bun was good, but kind of small for how much filling is in the slider. Overall, a great festival dish!

Beef Brisket Slider

We checked out both drinks at this booth, starting with the returning Cranberry Christmas Mule. This drink is made with gin, elderflower and ginger liqueurs, cherry purée, and cranberry and lime juices, topped with a citrus hard seltzer and garnished with a lime wedge gummy candy. Last year, this was on the menu at the Holiday Duets booth, and it was one of our favorite drinks at the Festival. The price this year is $18.50. Once again, this was a “best of the fest” alcoholic drink for us. It was refreshing and mostly sweet with a hint of tartness. The cherry puree was a standout flavor. The ginger and elderberry flavors were very light. It tasted a little bit like Hawaiian Punch. Also, our gummy garnish kept sinking on us.

Cranberry Christmas Mule

A new drink for 2025 is the Salted Caramel Brownie White Russian made with vodka, coffee liqueur, oat milk, and cookie butter and chocolate fudge syrups, garnished with salted caramel whipped cream and a brownie for $19.00. The brownie chunk topper is a very fun garnish. This was a super sweet, heavy drink, but also really tasty. It was almost like a dessert in a cup. The salted caramel whipped cream was really good, and the cookie butter flavor was a standout.

Grandma’s Recipes — 4/5

Grandma’s Recipes

Returning this year is the Barbacoa Tamal de Res for $9.75, and it is made with Oaxaca cheese, tomatillo salsa, and crema. This is a really great dish – all the flavors combine beautifully, and we enjoyed the texture (however, you have to be okay with the softer texture of the corn cakes – we know many aren’t), but it’s important to note that there is a kick here! For those who are spice-adverse, this may be one to stay away from.

Barbacoa Tamal de Res

The Cookie Dough Yule Log is $8.50 and is filled with chocolate chip cookie dough and white chocolate mousse, covered with chocolate buttercream. This is easily a best of the fest item for us! There are lots of fun flavors here, and that smooth chocolate frosting paired with the moist cake really just makes this treat shine. The cookie dough center is a tasty surprise in the best way, and if you’re a big fan of sweets, this is absolutely a treat to grab.

Cookie Dough Yule Log

You can also grab the Café de Olla Cold Brew made with Joffrey’s Mexico Origin Coffee, whole and condensed milk, and house-made spiced piloncillo syrup topped with a chocolate dulce de leche sweet cream and garnished with a mini pan dulce for $7.75. The cinnamon cold brew is good in itself, but the concha does get soggy, so we recommend taking it out the moment you grab it and eating it normally, or dipping it in the drink. The concha itself has a hint of strawberry to it that pairs great with the creamy and sweet coffee. Again, this is one for the sweet fans!

Cafe de Olla Cold Brew

You can also grab the Café de Olla Carajillo Cocktail made with Spanish liqueur, Joffrey’s Mexico Origin Coffee, whole and condensed milk, and house-made spiced piloncillo syrup topped with a chocolate dulce de leche sweet cream and garnished with a mini pan dulce for $19.00. This is the same drink as the non-alcoholic coffee, just with that addition of the liqueur, so unless you’re REALLY looking for a boozy coffee, we recommend sticking with the non-alcoholic to save yourself some serious money.
