If there’s one event I’m always down for, it’s a movie night! The popcorn, the sweet treats, and two hours of pure enjoyment, what more could you want?
The Downtown Disney District is hosting movie nights that are filled with all the best parts of movie night, PLUS it’s at Disney. Now that’s my type of party!
On Wednesday nights starting September 24th to October 29th, you can head to the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage at 7 PM to enjoy movie night. The event is first-come, first-served, and is a great way to spend some more time at Disney without being in the parks.
The best part? The treats! The movie nights are hosted by M&M’s, and if you stop by the Disney Wonderful World of Sweets from now till October 31st, you can try new M&M’s treats. The picture that Downtown Disney shared on Instagram also features popcorn, a staple of any movie night.
For September 24th, they’re going to be playing Hocus Pocus, and while the other movies have not been announced, they will all be Halloween-themed. I hope they play Halloweentown and The Nightmare Before Christmas, too!
We expect this event to fill up quickly, so if it is on your list, make sure to head there early to account for traffic and the other movie fans who will also be trying to catch a flick. Also, don’t forget to grab a snack at Disney Wonderful World of Sweets before heading over.

So the treats are free also? I went back to read this article a couple more times to make sure I didn’t miss anything and from what I’m gleaning, it seems like the treats are free as well.
