Although Epic Universe has now been open for almost a year, Universal Orlando still has big plans for its theme parks, including a new Fast and Furious ride that is currently under construction.

However, Universal’s shopping and dining district, CityWalk, will be getting something new soon, too. The Orlando Sentinel reports that Luke Combs’ Category 10 will be coming to CityWalk in 2027.
Category 10 is an entertainment venue franchise owned by country star Luke Combs. The singer and Opry Entertainment group announced that the venue would be coming to Universal CityWalk in 2027, with groundbreaking on the construction site set for this summer. So expect to see some construction walls going up in CityWalk by then.

This will be the third Category 10, with the others located in Nashville and Las Vegas. Universal’s Category 10 will be a three-story, 33,000-square-foot experience. The Nashville venue features line dancing, live music, a lounge, a sports bar, and a rooftop bar. Food and drinks include things like burgers, sandwiches, ribs, and salads. The bar will feature a 64-ounce group cocktail named Life of the Party, made with Espolòn Blanco Tequila, Mr. Boston’s Peach, Owen’s Sparkling Cranberry, and Fresh-Pressed Lemon & Lime.

“I’m super-pumped and humbled that we’re getting to open a location there,” Combs said in the news release. “My wife is from Florida, so we’re both super-excited about this. I am glad to be bringing our brand of first-class service and awesome tunes to the Sunshine State.”

Universal hasn’t shared an official opening date or location for the new venue, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for more news, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
