NEWS: Peacock Announces Price Increases for 4 (!!!) Membership Tiers

Bad news for Peacock members today — yet another streaming service has decided to raise its prices.

Peacock just announced that starting later this month, subscribers will be charged more for their subscription. You’ll want to take a look at your budget, because this isn’t just a $1 increase — increases range from $3 to $30, depending on your subscription tier.

Peacock subscribers just got a notice letting them know that price increases have officially taken effect. The change went live beginning on July 23rd, 2025.

The price changes are as follows:

Premium Monthly: up $10.99 from $7.99
Premium Plus Monthly: up $16.99 from $13.99
Premium Annual: up $109.99 from $79.99
Premium Plus Annual: up $169.99 from $139.99

Peacock states that the reason for the price increase is that they “allow Peacock to continue to create the best experience for its viewers, remain competitive in the marketplace, and deliver unique content across all genres.” The new prices do not include applicable taxes, so the actual cost of your membership will be higher. If the cost is now too high, or you’ve been thinking about ending your membership, you may want to do so before your next billing cycle.
