NEWS: Price Increases Just Hit Typhoon Lagoon in Disney World, and No One Is Happy About It

Typhoon Lagoon has just opened back up for the season, and we stopped by to check out what’s new.

Typhoon Tilly’s

While nothing changed too much in the grand scheme of the park, we did get a bit of a shock when we looked at all the different food stands around the park. As it turns out, nearly every single food stand and EVERY ITEM had a price increase in the park.

At nearly every single restaurant and snack location in Typhoon Lagoon, price increases have hit the park, and we were, honestly, disappointed to see that. At the Typhoon Tilly’s Snack Shack, the following snacks reported price increases:

  • Chocolate Chip Cookie: Increased from $3.99 to $4.29
  • Strawberry Boba: Increased from $5.75 to $6
  • DASANI Water: $3.75 to $4
  • DOLE Whip Float: Increased from $16 to $16.50
Typhoon Lagoon prices have increased

And honestly, that’s just the start. Multiple items at Typhoon Tilly’s increased from a range of just 20 cents to as much as 75 cents. Very few items escaped price increases, and we just have to hope we won’t see any more this year, but we’ll prepare ourselves for additional price increases later this year.

Drinks have risen from $3.49 to $4.29 across the park, and alcoholic beverages, like the Blood Orange Wine Spritz, have increased from $11 to $11.50. Basically, everywhere we turned, there were price increases.

Additionally, we noticed that refillable mugs are not currently available at the park, and, for those who drink lots of soda, this is sad news.
