Disney Springs is one of our number one places to go in Disney World when we’re looking for a great meal.

There are so many different restaurants to explore with all types of cuisine — some require reservations, while others are quick-service locations, and you can walk in at any time. We just got the chance to experience the Disney Springs Sip, Savor, and Stroll event, and let us tell you, these eats and drinks were ELITE!
The Sip, Savor, and Stroll event is a special foodie event for Disney fans where you can “drink, dine, and dash your way through an evening of culinary adventure.” Tickets are $85 per person and give you access to Enzo’s Hideaway, Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante, and The Edison. It’s a blast!

Our first stop was Enzo’s Hideaway, where we had the Hibiscus Sangria (Lakeridge cabernet sauvignon, Florida orange liqueur, hibiscus, apricot brandy, orange, cinnamon) and the Crudo di Tonno (bluefin tuna crudo, panelle di ceci, citrus, parsley, pistachio, tangerine extra virgin olive oil).

The Hibiscus Sangria was super light and refreshing! The orange & hibiscus were the strongest notes, and we didn’t taste a whole lot of the cinnamon or apricot! It was super smooth, and we loved the flavor, so we gave it a solid 8/10.

The Crudo di Tonno was quite literally unlike anything our reporter had ever eaten before. The tuna was like butter, and the panels de cici had a really nice nuttiness to it that complemented the tuna really well. The pistachios added a really nice and well-needed crunch to this dish, but we didn’t get any of those citrus notes. It gets a 7.5/10 from us!

Then we headed over to Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante for the Mango Basil Chiller and Bruschetta alla Calabrese.

The Mango Basil Chiller is made with Bacardí rum, Chinola mango, basil-infused agave nectar, lime juice, and Tajín. This was a STRONG drink, but not so strong that we disliked it. Dark rum was definitely the strongest note, and we got an even flavor of the mango and basil. We loved the tajín rim and thought it was a great choice, especially with how the flavor profile matched with the mango. This gets a perfect 10/10 from us!

The Bruschetta alla Calabrese is grilled house focaccia, marinated shrimp, ’nduja, salsa verde, and petite basil. The shrimp were tossed in salsa verde, and it was so very light and fresh; however, they were a tad overcooked, in our opinion. The focaccia was solid, and the ‘nduja was baked on top of the focaccia and added a kick of heat we weren’t expecting, but it juxtaposed the shrimp very well! However, if you don’t do spicy dishes, this won’t be for you. This gets an 8.5/10 from us!

Finally, we stopped by The Edison for the Cherry Cordial and Black Forest Cake.

The Cherry Cordial is made with Cazcabel blanco tequila, crème de cacao, cherry, and cream (a dairy-free option is also available). This left us confused but also delightfully surprised at the same time! In our head, cream and tequila wouldn’t go together, yet each time we sipped it, the flavor grew on us! The bartender told us that the cherry liqueur was a last-minute add to get the pretty pink color, and to us, that was the best decision they could’ve made because the tequila, cherry, and chocolate flavors all worked really well for us. It’s on the stronger side as well and gets a 7/10 from us.

The Black Forest Cake is a dark chocolate cake with vanilla cream, kirsch-infused cherries, and shaved dark chocolate. While this cake was on the denser side, it wasn’t so much that we disliked it. The chocolate was rich but not “3 bites and done” rich, which we appreciated. The vanilla cream was fine — not bad but nothing to write home about. The cherries and cherry sauce were a great tart addition and lightened this dish up a ton, and the kirsch-infused cherries on top genuinely shocked us in the best way. It honestly tasted like a straight-up shot of liquor, and these cherries were the booziest-tasting thing of the whole evening. It gets an 8/10 from us!

Overall, we were very impressed with these offerings, and it has us even MORE excited for what we’ll get to experience next year! Be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney Springs reviews and news.
