Okay, we get it Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass in Disney World can be confusing.

In Magic Kingdom, it’s sometimes complicated. You’ve got more rides to deal with, which means more Lightning Lanes to book, and there are probably several rides that will be your must-rides. Well, we’re here to help. We’re going to offer you a map that will help you make those Lightning Lane selections to get the most out of your day in Magic Kingdom.
We’ve put together this map to give you an idea of which Lightning Lanes sell out FASTEST in Disney World. Why is this important? Well, you can prioritize those rides that sell out the fastest so you try to get those first. Let’s break it down. So here’s the average time Lightning Lane tends to sell out for certain rides.

Here’s how it breaks down: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is usually the first Lightning Lane to sell out, by 9:20 AM. That’s followed by Enchanted Tales with Belle, which is usually gone by 2:02 PM. Jungle Cruise is usually gone by 2:41 PM, while Peter Pan’s Flight usually sells out a little later, at 3:08 PM. Finally, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is gone by 4:30 PM.

So let this inform you on which Lightning Lanes to focus on first. If you’re booking early (and remember, you can book Lightning Lanes seven days in advance if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel and three days if you’re not), you’ll want to focus on those rides that are usually gone earlier in the day. This can help you maximize your ride time using Lightning Lanes in Magic Kingdom.

Need help figuring out how to book Lightning Lanes? You can do it through the My Disney Experience app. You can purchase a Lightning lane Multi Pass, a Lightning Lane Single Pass, or both right through the app.
When you’re within your planning window (either 7+ days for hotel guests or 3 days for everyone else) at 7AM ET, you’ll be able to select up to three Lightning Lane Multi-Pass experiences per day of your trip. Tip: make sure your entire group is linked before you start booking your first Lightning Lanes. You can purchase it for each day of your trip or just for specific days. Prices are dependent on the date and park you purchase it for.

Once you’ve made your selections, you’re all set. Then when you arrive at the park, you can start making new Lightning Lane selections once you have redeemed your first one. If you’re still confused, we’ve explained how to do it here.

When I went to make my LL selections 7 days in advance at exactly 7 am, I was shocked to find many early times were already gone. My first selection in MK is not until 1030! I could have booked Dumbo at 900 but I was a bit afraid my desired rides would sell out!
