BREAKING: END DATE Announced for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Virtual Queue in Disney World

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened in Magic Kingdom on June 28th, 2024, but a major change has been announced for this ride.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

The ride picks up where the movie leaves off after the final kiss shared between Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen. Princess Tiana is throwing a Mardi Gras party in New Orleans and you’re invited! But first, she needs your help in finding the missing ingredient. When the ride first opened, there was no standby line offered. Thus far, guests have had to use Lightning Lane Multi Pass or grab a virtual queue to experience the ride. But now, that’s all changing!

Disney has announced that as of February 25th, 2025 you will no longer have to get a virtual queue boarding group to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom! Instead, the ride will be available via a regular standby line.

Previously, we had only seen a standby line offered for this ride at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party, but soon that will no longer be the case. Starting next week, you’ll be able to enter the queue at any time on any day!

Down in New Orleans!

Even though the virtual queue will be going away, you will still be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and grab a Lightning Lane for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure giving you access to skip the line. This may make the Lightning Lanes even more beneficial for the ride.

  1. So far, as of Feb 22, 2025, the ride has been shut down for three days. I even asked a cast member if it was a mechanical or a weather issue, and she indicated it was mechanical. So disappointed we didn’t get to ride, and I hope this will change soon!

  2. I can’t wait to ride it in Sept or October 2025. It’s themed to my hometown of New Orleans and Mardi Gras is a big deal. So I think I’ll enjoy this ride
