Where do YOU draw the line at Disney World?

Disney World offers all kinds of experiences and it’s safe to say there’s something for everyone. Packed with incredible rides, shows, and eats, there’s lots to enjoy. With that said, we go to Disney World EVERY DAY and there are some things we still refuse to do.
A word of note before we get into five things we REFUSE to do in Disney World for weird, wild, or wholesome reasons: WE HAVE DONE EVERYTHING. We pride ourselves in our accurate reporting and we make sure to experience everything Disney has to offer. However, in our personal time, some members of our team avoid certain offerings.
Without further ado, let’s start with one thing we don’t do generally ever at the Disney Parks…BUY WATER!

You could spend a few bucks for water, or you could bring your own bottle/cup and refill it FOR FREE. We almost always opt for this choice, as it saves us money in the long run.

The Disney Parks feature several refill stations and it won’t cost you a penny to use them.

You can also get free cups of water from restaurants and quick-service locations.

Alright, this next item on our DO NOT list isn’t essentially a whole AE team thing (as this writer LOVES the attraction), but some of us won’t ride Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway out of respect for The Great Movie Ride.

Like we said, this sentiment isn’t across the board but we miss the old attraction and have a soft spot for Disney history. Lots of folks also have plenty of thoughts about Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway vs. The Great Movie Ride after Mickey and Minnie’s replaced the classic attraction officially in 2020.

More rides we generally avoid are Mission: SPACE and rides that make us sick. We paid too much for food to have it leave our stomachs like that.

Mission: SPACE is especially notorious for causing sickness — so much so that both the mild and intense versions of the attraction include accessible barf bags. Look, we’re here for a good time, not a chaotic one.

Fortunately, Disney offers plenty of fantastic calm rides, such as Haunted Mansion and Living with the Land.

Another thing we won’t do is wait for anything longer than 45 minutes. In fact, one of our team members added they won’t even wait more than 10 minutes for Peter Pan’s Flight — meaning they never ride.

Look, we need to reiterate that we go to Disney World every day, so we value our time differently than most tourists and non-passholders.

Some of our favorite rides that usually have stomachable wait times include the Carousel of Progress, Pirates of the Caribbean, Expedition Everest, Star Tours, and Living with the Land.

Finally, you probably won’t see us using hotel gyms while visiting Disney World.

We’ll never knock anyone taking care of their fitness during a vacation. However, many on our team feel they get enough cardio in during their park days. In fact, many reach their step goals by 10 AM!
Of course, if you’re not like us and want to get your usual workouts in, rest assured that the Disney World hotels have gyms if you still want to get reps in.
