Over 20 NEW Flight Routes are Coming to Orlando International Airport in 2025

Orlando International Airport (MCO) will see over 20 new routes debut in 2025, further solidifying the hub as one of America’s busiest airports, and the principal gateway for millions of tourist destinations, including Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando.

Over the course of the year, 9 major airlines will add new routes to MCO.

January will see Alaska Airlines begin seasonal service between Orlando and Boise, Idaho, and Sacramento, California. The Boise service will run from January 7th to March 25th, while the Sacramento flights will run from January 6th to April 21st. The same month will also see JetBlue begin flights between Orlando and Manchester, New Hampshire on January 23rd.

The following month features American Airlines flying seasonal flights between Boston and Orlando from February 14th to the 23rd, and Breeze Airways will add service to Gulfport, Mississippi starting February 6th and both Ogdensburg, New York, and Wilmington, North Carolina, starting February 13th.

March will see Frontier Airlines start new service to Austin, Texas, and Los Angeles on March 6th and Oklahoma City on March 7th. Delta will launch seasonal service to Nashville, Tennessee from March 8th through April 12th, and Discover Airlines will begin service to Munich, Germany on March 3rd.

The following month, Delta will also begin service to Indianapolis on April 5th. That same month, Southwest Airlines will launch service to both San Diego, California and Richmond, Virginia on April 10th. Finally, Frontier will start service to San Francisco on April 22nd.

As the summer travel season kicks off in May, Air France will fly from Orlando for the first time since 2012 with flights to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport beginning on May 21st (pending government approval).

Finally, August will see Southwest Airlines launch several routes on August 5th — Fort Myers, FL, Los Angeles, CA, West Palm Beach, FL, Miami, FL, and Sarasota, FL.
