NEWS: Cooler Weather Hits Disney World, Blizzard Beach to Close for 3 Days

Not only do the Disney World parks look ready for the holiday season, but now they are also starting to feel a bit more like it too!

A cold front has moved into the Central Florida area and is bringing some cooler weather to Disney World over the next few days.

Some cooler weather has arrived in Disney World! The next couple of days will be feeling much more like Christmas at Disney World with highs only reaching into the upper 60s. As well, lows overnight will reach into the 40s.

Magic Kingdom

Due to the cooler temperatures, Blizzard Beach water park will be closing for three days. The water park will be closed on November 21st through November 23rd, but it is expected to reopen on Sunday, November 24th. It is common to see the water parks close during the winter months when the temperature gets cooler.

Merry Menagerie in Animal Kingdom

On Thursday, November 21st, the high will be 68 degrees, with a low of 47 degrees. Friday will see a high of 68 degrees and a low of 43 degrees, and Saturday will see a high of 66 degrees with a low of 45 degrees. These are some of the coolest temperatures we have seen so far this season.

If you are heading to Disney World in the coming months, it is always a good idea to pack a few warmer clothing items. While you won’t always experience cooler weather, it never hurts to be prepared so you aren’t having to impulse buy a sweatshirt for the cooler days.
