Downtown Disney is getting some upgrades!

Anaheim’s Downtown Disney district has gotten a slew of upgrades in recent years, as the shipping and dining district has continued to evolve in tune with the rest of the Disneyland Resort around it.
On November 12th, 2024, Disney released information on several new dining and retail experiences coming to Downtown Disney, including two previously unannounced restaurants from Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori at the former site of Tortilla Joe’s.

The first new restaurant, Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, is described as “a classic steakhouse, with a lively center bar, offering prime cuts of beef, fresh seafood, sandwiches and salads, and an impressive selection of bourbon and inventive cocktails.”

Right next to it will be Pearl’s Roadside BBQ. This new quick-service establishment will offer “flavorful dishes such as pulled pork, beef brisket and smoked heritage turkey with house-made sauces, along with craft beers and moonshine cocktails.”

In addition to the two new restaurants, Disney also released some new information and concept art covering two previously announced dining establishments: Parkside Market and Porto’s.

Parkside Market will be located on the district’s west side and feature four distinct culinary offerings.
- The newly announced Vista Parkside Market, which will offer “great views of the district to sip signature craft cocktails and mocktails made with local ingredients and artful garnishes.”
- Seoul Sister, a fast-casual modern eatery serving Korean-style rice bowls.
- Sip & Sonder, which will offer lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks and “delicious” small bites.
- GG’s Chicken Shop, which will serve chicken sandwiches, salads and classic dinner table sides.

Meanwhile, the newly renovated Porto’s will feature a bakery and cafe where guests can “pick up their signature Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls and other favorite goodies.” In addition, the location will be an “enhanced” Porto’s experience, and the first Porto’s location with sit-down table service and a full bar.”
