Ahhh, Disney World value resorts, we love you so…

The in-your-face Disney theming, the reasonable price with perks like Early Theme Park Entry, the Skyliner (at a couple of them) — what’s not to love! Although these are some of our favorite hotels on property, the value resorts have one major downfall…ONE dining location. Now, that’s posing a challenge for people staying at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort!
We do our best to warn you about upcoming closures and refurbishments so that you can be prepared for your trip. That’s why in May, we let you know about the refurbishment hitting World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All Star Movies Resort. Well now, the time is officially here and the partial closure has begun!

We walked up to the entrance where we were greeted by Cast Members and a Mobile Order sign. Currently, this restaurant is Mobile Order only, which you can do through the My Disney Experience app. Cast Members will be able to assist you if you need any help.

Once your order is ready, you’ll be assigned a number that coordinates with a table number and that’s where you’ll go to grab your grub! It was laid out simply and seemed to be working smoothly so far.

Luckily, all of the seating seems to be available right now, so you can still eat here.

The drink stations are open with self-service utensil station carts and microwaves and toasters near the counter by Silver Screen Spirits are available for visitors.

On the other hand, the kitchen, ordering area, and registers are behind black curtains. And, of course, it’s not a Disney World refurbishment without the bushes!

This refurbishment is set to last through July 31st, so if you’re staying at All Star Movies in the next month, prepare for some construction here. Don’t forget that you can order groceries to your hotel room or take some leftovers from another meal back to your hotel room.
Luckily you can still get food in a pinch…it’s just not as glamorous of an experience! Cast Members mentioned that the menu may be a bit smaller than usual, too, but that they should have most of their main menu items.
