Planning a Disney World trip is difficult enough without having to expect the unexpected.

That’s why we do our best to bring you the latest updates and news you need to know so you can be prepared! Of course, being flexible is just as important as being prepared, and if you’ll be staying at a Disney World hotel anytime soon — we’ve gotta share some bad news.
Don’t get us wrong — we LOVE staying at Disney World hotels. It’s hard to beat the proximity to the parks, amenities, free transportation, and overall theming these resorts provide. But, if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel in the near future, you might want to know about all the construction currently going on.

Of course, only a handful of hotels are construction zones right now, but still — it can have a bigger impact on your stay than you might think! Over at the Polynesian, a brand-new Disney Vacation Club tower is being built. It’ll be home to new rooms, dining, shopping, and more, but for now — it’s an eyesore that could block the view from your room.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas are home to a couple of different construction projects that could put you in a bind if you’ve got a room that faces the BoardWalk itself. The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers has been under construction for a while…

…and will serve up sweet and savory menus and afternoon tea service, all in a whimsical atmosphere.

We can’t wait for Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs to open, either!

It’s Disneyland counterpart is quite popular — sink your teeth into hand-dipped corn dogs that will tantalize your taste buds! Try the classic or one with a flavorful twist, like the Golden Dragon Panko-Crusted Corn Dog.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort haven’t created any construction headaches that we’ve seen just yet, but it’s something to keep in mind before these are set to open this summer!

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!
