SNEAK PEEK at NEW Restaurant Coming to Downtown Disney

It’s an exciting time to be a fan of Disney food!

New restaurants are popping up all over the place, but Downtown Disney in Disneyland is about to become quite the hot spot thanks to new eateries coming soon. We just learned about a brand new restaurant on its way, but we’ve also got a first look at new details in another concept!

All the way back in 2023, we learned that a new restaurant concept would be coming to Downtown Disney later this year! Parkside Market is well underway, which is an all-new area that will highlight “diverse culinary concepts brought to life by Levy.” Four new offerings will be available — and we’ve got a sneak peek at what it will look like!

The exterior looks like it’s inspired by mid-century modern architecture and the atomic age with those sharp lines and geometric shapes.

The inside keeps some of those same atomic elements while blending it with some more modern colors and tones.

As far as the restaurants inside go, Seoul Sister is a fast-casual eatery that will serve a Korean-forward menu based on Korean rice bowls — all with a local twist. Executive Chef Kelly Kim will whip up a menu of bold, traditional flavors from Korea.

Sip and Sonder is another option, created by Amanda-Jane Thomas and Shanita Nicholas. This black woman-owned brand has actually been recognized as one of the BEST cafes in LA by the Los Angeles Times. Here, you’ll find lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks, and even some Caribbean-inspired bites.

GG’s Chicken Shop is a third location, which is from Boka Restaurant Group and was founded by James Beard Award-winners Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm and Michelin Star Chef Partner Lee Wolen. This family-friendly restaurant will serve chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic sides.

A second-story bar will also be added so that folks can grab a drink inspired by local ingredients and enjoy the views of the area. There will also be a new stage and lawn for special events, activities, musical entertainment, and more!

We also just learned that another NEW restaurant will be coming to Downtown Disney. The newly-announced Tiendita “will offer Chef Gaytán’s Mexican heritage flavors on-the-go, with quick-service Mexican street-food staples.” Disney released the first piece of concept art with the announcement!
