Cringey Disney World Souvenirs That Are Kinda Painful to Write About

If you’re a Disney fan and go to the Parks often, then you probably know that new merch rotates on and off those shop shelves like nobody’s business.

There’s seemingly always something new, and sometimes those new things are so snazzy and popular that they’re gone within a few days, and other times they’r not-so-snazzy and remain on the shelves to haunt us for months to come. As much as we love Disney, and as much as we usually love the merchandise, there are a few items that we’ve seen in the past that we just… can’t even look at. We get the ick. Bad. Today, we’re going to highlight a few of those, so if you’re hoping to cross “look at cringey Disney merchandise” off your to-do list for the day, you’re in the right place.

Door Sign For Folish Mortals

There was this one time that Disney released some signs to hang on your doorknob for a touch of Disney theming. There were ones made for Tower of Terror and the Haunted Mansion, but the Haunted Mansion one just seemed a little… off.

Chip and Dale Taxidermy Ears

We love us some Chip and Dale merch. They’re our favorite chipmunks, after all. In 2021, Disney released these ears that feature terrifying and beheaded Chip and Dale.

Any “But Daddy, I Love Him!” Merch

Listen, y’all. We love The Little Mermaid as much as the next person, but you will not catch us strolling around the parks with anything that says “Daddy” on it. Anywhere.

Not to mention the grown folks who rep the “Daddy’s Favorite Princess” tees in the Parks. We don’t want to know whose favorite princess you are. Nope.

Giant Minnie Shoe Slippers

At certain locations throughout the parks, you’ll find gigantic versions of Minnie Mouse’s shoes in slipper form.

Look, these are cute, but don’t wear them in public, okay?

Some folks wear these around the parks as real shoes. We feel bad for whoever is underneath you during Soarin’. Also, what if you step in a puddle? YUCK.
