Mobile Order At Disney World Has CHANGED. See The Details Here!

One of the best recent(ish) additions to Disney World is the use of Mobile Order.

Order Ahead

Being able to order our food while we’re waiting in line for a ride, and then swinging by later to pick it up is one of the most convenient aspects of Disney World quick service. A recent change was made to the Mobile Order service, and if you aren’t careful, it could cause you to MISS your food pick-up time!

Previously, when you were choosing an arrival time on the Disney World app for Mobile Order pickup, time frames were listed in 30-minute windows. We just noticed that those 30-minute windows have been changed to only 15-minute windows.

If you’re anything like us, you might be in the habit of not actually looking at the second time that is listed and just knowing that you have 30 whole minutes to run and grab your food. Well, now you only have 15 minutes!

This isn’t a big deal as long as you are prepared and know that you have a shorter window of when to arrive to the restaurant and let the app know that you’re there and ready for your food.

In most cases, if you arrive after your allotted time frame, you can simply tell the Cast Member what happened and they are usually very accommodating as long as it isn’t outrageously busy at the location. However, we’d try to avoid this as much as possible. We’re only mentioning this to let you know that it isn’t the end of the world if you miss your slot.
