There is one fast-food chain that we can’t stop talking about. From colorful limited-edition menu items to specialty meals (plus TONS of new Happy Meal toys), McDonald’s has been making headlines a lot lately.
Recently, McDonald’s shared a mysterious announcement that had everyone talking. Well now, we’ve got an update on the mysterious new campaign coming to McDonald’s restaurants this fall.
You’ve seen the carefully-placed McDonald’s cups in movies. You know that iconic McDonald’s logo is hiding in your favorite shows. Now, McDonald’s is embracing all its best on-screen moments with the new As Featured In Meal.
Starting August 14th, McDonald’s will debut the As Featured In Meal, which will feature “a collection of fan-favorite menu items that have made iconic appearances throughout film, television and music,” according to McDonald’s. Look out for exclusive experiences, custom merchandise, and never-before-seen content during the limited-time event.
The special menu will feature classic items like the 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Big Mac Sandwich with Medium World Famous Fries, a Medium soft drink, and the newly-branded Sweet ‘N Sour Sauce. The best part? This new Sweet ‘N Sour Sauce is inspired by McDonald’s upcoming appearance in Loki season 2! (Streaming October 6th on Disney+)
Ahead of the sauce’s big Loki season 2 debut, McDonald’s is sharing a sneak peek at what’s to come thanks to a themed AR experience on Snapchat. To check it out, just scan the new Sweet N’ Sour Sauce lid on your Snapchat app to unlock exclusive Marvel content. A Disney X McDonald’s collab? Now we’re talking!
