NEW Menu Items Are Coming to a Restaurant at Disney’s BoardWalk Hotel

One of our favorite things to do at Disney World is to try out NEW food!

BoardWalk

Between menu updates, limited-time snacks, and the EPCOT festivals, there always seems to be something new to try in the parks. And now, we’re gearing up for some big updates at one of Disney World’s fancy restaurants!

Disney World has announced that starting June 14th, Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk will be getting some new menu items. There will be three new menu items as well as some updated signature dishes.

Here are the new things coming to the menu:

  • Spanish Octopus with saffron aïoli, shaved fennel, and crispy garlic
  • Hazelnut Dacquoise with praline, milk chocolate whipped cream, candied hazelnuts, and orange sorbet
  • Oak-grilled Romaine with buttermilk-crème fraîche, pecorino romano, marinated vegetables

The two updated signature dishes are the Plancha-seared Scallops with savory grits, sweet corn, and peppadew emulsion and the Char-crusted New York Strip with Mille-Feuille potato gratin, seasonal vegetables, and béarnaise sauce.

These menu changes come during an unusual time for the restaurant. Its next door neighbor, Trattoria al Forno, is currently closed for a short refurbishment. During that time, the Flying Fish dining room is being used to serve Trattoria al Forno’s breakfast. During the later part of the day, Flying Fish is open as usual.

We’ll keep you updated with any more menu changes and news from the parks and resorts, so stay tuned to AllEars!
