VIDEO: Look INSIDE Disney’s NEW DVC Villas

What is your favorite Disney hotel?

Whether you’d rather enjoy your morning coffee with a savannah view or live out your beignet-filled Louisiana dreams in Port Orleans, it’s no surprise that Disney’s hotels have some great theming. We’ve recently had a spectacular experience at the Disneyland Hotel, but did you know a new DVC tower is in the works at this location? We have an inside look at what’s to come.

This new, 12-story tower of DVC villas will have several themed rooms including The Jungle Book, Fantasia, and The Princess and the Frog. Recently, Disney shared a video of its progress, so we saw some of the design’s concept art and a model of a Sleeping Beauty room.

Each of the room themes will be decorated with its film in mind. This Sleeping Beauty room has colors and art that take inspiration from the film — like the colors of the light fixture and the art behind the pull-down bed. The artists of these pieces paid tribute to legends, like Mary Blair.

Even the bathroom has details to match the film. You’ll notice that the colors follow the theme…

…and you’ll find special details in the mirror. Each room style has its own touches like these that correspond to its theme.

We also saw some artists’ renderings of the rest of the hotel. The lobby will feature a custom artwork piece from Walt Disney Animation Studios that highlights some of the movies we know and love.

In the video, Disney shared a look at what the new pool bar will look like…

…as well as the pool itself. The bright colors that you see in the tower are carried throughout this outdoor area as well.

The Garden Units, which also feature these bright colors, will have balconies that overlook the future pool.
