A $69 Flight to Disney? Here's How to Make It Happen!

If you’ve been tempted to do the same ever since, or at least fly between Anaheim and Orlando for CHEAP, we’ve got some exciting news! An airline has just announced a brand new program that allows guests to fly non-stop from Florida to California and you’re going to want to get in on these deals soon!

Breeze Airways a budget airline started their new service on February 16th, 2023 from Orange County, California to Orlando, Florida. The service itself was actually announced back in November of 2022 but didn’t begin until just now — on February 16th, 2023.

An article by The Orange County Register back in 2022 quoted Breeze’s Chief Commercial Officer Lukas Johnson as a flight path “connecting Disney to Disney.”

The budget airline has started service between John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California and Orlando International Airport in Orlando, Florida. John Wayne Airport is just about 15 miles from Disneyland.

This marks the 100th non-stop route for this airline. In a statement, Breeze Airways President Tom Doxey shared, “I can’t think of a better way to commemorate this milestone than for the ‘Nicest Airline’ to connect two of the ‘Happiest Places on Earth.'” (Note that Disney World is technically the Most Magical Place on Earth.)

You’re going to want to act quickly on these deals though if you looking to grab them! According to the Orange County Register, at the moment, these flights start at just $69 one way. The fares are expected to rise to $119-$199 when the introductory period ends.

They may quickly become a serious competitor to Southwest Airlines, which also serves John Wayne Airport and MCO but not with a nonstop flight. With Breeze Airways, they’ll start out with a single daily flight each day. The flight will depart before 9AM PT from John Wayne Airport and then return from Orlando around 5PM ET.

Breeze Airways was started in 2021 by the former JetBlue founder and has quickly gained notoriety. Travel+Leisure Magazine ranked it number 2 on their list of best domestic airlines in 2022. According to an article by the Orange County Register from 2022, Breeze Airways can often offer quite a few perks that set them apart from other big-ticket and budget airlines, including “letting families sit together for free, no-penalty changes or cancellation of bookings up to 15 minutes before departure, and several price levels including first class and extra legroom seats.”
