A reopened restaurant is now taking reservations once again!

In late November, Takumi-Tei officially reopened in EPCOT, but no reservations were available to the public. Today, we noticed that reservations had become available on the Disney World website and on My Disney Experience, where the restaurant was previously not taking reservations.

This restaurant is in EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion and is home to a beautiful atmosphere and great food. This is an incredibly expensive experience though, with two omakase multi-course meals priced at $250 for omnivorous eats and $150 for the plant-based meal. Currently, they are not open on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

  1. I had the privilege of eating shortly after they opened the first time and the food and service was beyond awesome. I wish that they had not been ruined by this huge price increase and no choice menu. The service also came with education about the Japanese culture and history. I would for sure pre Covid19 rate this restaurant as the best in all of Disney hands down.

  2. I haven’t eaten at Takumi Tei, not because of the price, but because the menu is soo beef-centric. I could not order the omakase meal because of the amount of beef. A seafood omakase menu would be very welcome, and in keeping with Japanese cuisine.
