SNEAK PEEK at H.E.R. as Belle and More From the 'Beauty and the Beast' Live Special

It’s been 30 years since Disney’s animated feature Beauty and the Beast first graced theater screens. 30 years! ?

To celebrate, ABC will be hosting a special called Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration starring Josh Groban as the Beast and H.E.R. as Belle! We previously got a first look at the special, but ABC has now released MORE photos showing the cast members in their costumes, the sets, and more.

For starters, here’s a photo of H.E.R. as Belle in her village outfit! It’s so interesting to see that she is in front of a black-and-white, drawn background, taking us back to the steps before scenes get fully animated.

Here’s Josh Groban as the Beast. Check out that beard!

We were especially excited to hear that Martin Short was cast as Lumiere and Shania Twain was cast as Mrs. Potts. Here’s a photo of them in character together!

You can’t have Beauty and the Beast without Gaston. Here’s Josh Henry in the role. He looks like he’s truly heading somewhere with a purpose. Do NOT get in Gaston’s way, folks!

This star-studded cast also includes David Alan Grier as Cogsworth…
