Let me start by saying that I am all about the holiday season.

Wilderness Lodge at Christmastime

Halloween? Sure, it’s all well and good. But what I’m really yearning for is November 1st, when it’s completely acceptable (in my mind anyways) to grab a balsam candle and get to decking the halls. This year is extra special for me though — I recently welcomed my daughter into the family, and this is going to be her first Christmas season! So, while usually I may have had my festive meter at 100, this year I’m dialing it up to 150.

With all that in mind, I’m obviously starting to plan for some gifts, despite the fact that we’re still solidly in pumpkin spice latte season. While I’m sure I’ll be continuing to make my list (and check it twice), here’s what I’m looking to shop for so far for my baby’s first Christmas.

Little Sleepies Mickey Winter Wonderland Onesie

One Christmas tradition my family has had since I was a baby is a new pair of pajamas. Every Christmas Eve, we’ve gotten a new pair that we can then wake up in on Christmas morning. Now, these were never matching…

…but, I may be changing that. These Mickey Winter Wonderland PJs are just TOO cute, and all of Little Sleepies’ clothing is especially cozy. Now, will I be picking up the matching pajama top and bottoms for me? I will neither confirm nor deny that statement. You can pick up the Zippy Onesie for $38.

Baby’s First Christmas

Continuing with the trend of Disney (are you really surprised?), she will obviously need a First Christmas style book.

This one features the whole Disney gang, along with touch-and-feel elements. Available for $6.69, I’m excited to add this to her growing book collection.

Lovevery Play Gym

Alright, heading off of Disney to get to her one big gift for the year. Why opt for a pricey gift for a baby that is just as content playing with wrapping paper, you may ask?

Lovevery is a brand our family has loved for its Montessori-style toys to grow with her. Available for $140.99, this play gym can be converted into a cute tent when she’s older, and comes with tons of interactive elements for her to use up until then. We have and love several picks from the brand, so I know we won’t be disappointed.

Personalized Night Before Christmas Book

I’ve had to restrain myself with books, but couldn’t resist adding one more!

This Night Before Christmas book is extra special because you can personalize it with your kid’s name. Available for $34.99, I love that this personalized pick is one you can get on Amazon because, let’s face it — that’s where I do most of my shopping.

Eeyore Stuffed Animal

Picking just ONE plush is a hard choice, but I think I’ve made the right one with this adorable Eeyore!

For $17, this plush is extra soft and fuzzy, making it a perfect cuddle buddy for a little one. Plus, let’s just put it out there that Eeyore is the best, and while I’d be happy for her to have any of the 100 Acre Woods gang, Eeyore is my personal favorite.

There are few things I love more than getting to shop for my family and friends this time of year, and having a little one to shop for has made the season all the more exciting!
