We’ve been waving our arms in front of the 50th anniversary statues, participating in Star Wars-themed bounty hunts, and enjoying how the new MagicBands interact with nighttime shows. Now, though, this tech is coming to Disneyland — and we know exactly when!
Disneyland just announced that MagicBand+ will release there on October 26th. However, Magic Key holders, Cast Members, and Disney Vacation Club Members will get to purchase MagicBand+ in Disneyland as early as October 19th.
There will be more than 18 colors and designs when MagicBand+ launches in Disneyland, including five exclusive designs! Also, Magic Key holders will be able to purchase a special Magic Key MagicBand+ that will even have a unique light-up sequence. In addition to Magic Key discounts, Magic Key holders will also get an additional $10 off the special Magic Key MagicBand+.
So what will MagicBand+ do in Disneyland? There will be “new, immersive elements to park experiences and entertainment,” including some interactions in Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park. MagicBand+ will also allow guests to participate in the Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters quest.
MagicBand+ will also interact with California Adventure’s new nighttime show “World of Color — One” and Disneyland’s new fireworks show “Wondrous Journeys“ in January 2023.
So be sure to check out MagicBand+ when it arrives in Disneyland! If you need help setting it up, we’ve got a step-by-step guide here.
Before you buy that MagicBand+, though, please read this first.
