It’s the end of July, and you know what that means. Spooky season at Disney World is right around the corner!

With the first Mickey’s Not-So Scary Halloween Party happening on August 12th, we’ll soon be seeing Halloween decorations in Magic Kingdom, as well as Halloween-themed merchandise and snacks. But something else will be happening soon, too: Magic Kingdom will be opening early on the days of the Halloween parties!
We took a look at Disney World’s calendar for August and noticed that Magic Kingdom’s hours have changed for the days when there’s a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On August 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th, and 30th, Magic Kingdom will open an hour earlier, at 8AM instead of its usual 9AM.

So guests who go to Magic Kingdom on the day of a party who do not have a Halloween party ticket will have access to the park from 8AM to 6PM.

However, when we look at the month of September, the hours still show from 9AM to 6PM for Magic Kingdom.

This could potentially change, though, so we’ll let you know if that happens.

As always, our best advice is to keep an eye on the calendar on Disney World’s website or My Disney Experience app to check park hours — they do often change, so keep that in mind.

Open 1 hr. early and close 2 hr. early. Sorry Disney but the math on that still short changes your customers.
