“Skip the line” passes are nothing new to the Disney parks!

Disney World and Disneyland Resort first started out with paper FastPasses back in the day, then transitioned to things like FastPass+ and MaxPass. Now, both resorts have Disney Genie+, the new paid system that has had both critics and supporters since its launch. But what about the international parks? Well, now one resort is getting the addition of Disney Premier Access!
Disney Premier Access is coming to the Tokyo Disney Resort through the resort’s app starting May 19th, 2022. The new service allows guests to reserve their visit to park attractions by selecting their preferred time to visit through the app.

Disney Premier Access will first be available at Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast (Tokyo Disneyland) and Soaring: Fantastic Flight (Tokyo DisneySea) for a fee of 2,000 yen per access. For these two attractions, Standby Pass is suspended, but guests will still be able to experience the attractions as usual by waiting in line. It seems to work similarly to the Individual Attraction Selections (also known as FancyRides or pay-per-ride selections) at the domestic parks.

We’re interested to see how this system works for the park once it launches, so stay tuned to AllEars for any more important details. We’ve got you covered on all the major news from Disney’s international parks!
