When you see the words “iconic Disney hero” there are probably a few roles that come to mind.

For some, it might be Captain America or even The Hulk, but others might think of one smuggler such as Han Solo or an archeology professor like Indiana Jones — and what do these last two movie heroes have in common? They were both played by none other than Harrison Ford, who has just signed onto his first-ever major television role.

Soon, Harrison Ford will be adding Dr. Phil Rhodes to the long list of roles he has taken on. The new series from Apple TV+ is called Shrinking, and will be executive produced by Jason Segel along with Ted Lasso’s Bill Lawrence (co-creator and executive producer) and Brett Goldstein (star, writer, and producer).

According to Deadline, Shrinking will be produced by Warner Bros. Television and also stars Segel, who plays a grieving therapist opposite Ford’s Dr. Phil Rhodes. Rhodes (also a therapist) is described as being “blunt but with an ever present twinkle” who has been recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
