The 5th installment of Indiana Jones was scheduled to start filming last summer.
Production was delayed due to some writing disputes and it was also announced that Steven Spielberg would not be directing. Like many films, production was delayed further due to the global health crisis. All the delays and disputes made it hard for fans to believe that the film would actually come to fruition.
We received confirmation from the Disney Investors Day presentation that Indiana Jones 5 will start filming this Spring 2021 with a projected July 2022 release! And yes, Harrison Ford is still involved and will return as the adventurous charmer himself.
As previously announced, James Mangold will take the place of Spielberg as director of the 5th film. Keep following along as we drop all the news from Investors Day!
