There’s no denying that Indiana Jones is an iconic movie character.
We love that the archaeologist’s world is brought to life in the Disney parks, from the stunt spectacular in Disney’s Hollywood Studios to the epic ride in Disneyland. The franchise is a classic, and it’s not over! The 5th Indiana Jones movie is currently being made, with legendary actor Harrison Ford reprising his role as the lead. However, there has been a speed bump in production.
According to Variety, Ford was reportedly injured on the set of Indiana Jones 5.
Disney released a statement saying: “In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder. Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.”
The film started production earlier this month in the U.K. We do not yet know the plot to the sequel, but we do know Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Solo: A Star Wars Story) and Mads Mikkelsen (Dr. Strange, Rogue One) will be in the movie.
Ford has also been injured on two other Indiana Jones movies. The 78-year-old tore his ACL during filming for Raiders of the Lost Ark and injured his back on Temple of Doom. He also broke his leg in a serious incident during filming for Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2014.
Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to be released on July 29th, 2022 after being delayed multiple times. The fifth installment comes more than 40 years after the first movie, Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark. We’ll keep you updated on any other developments from the movie’s production, so stay tuned to All Ears.

I hope Harrison is okay!!! It wouldn’t be an Indiana Jones movie unless he had some kind of injury!!!! But at his age the fact that he can do any stunts is really cool and amazing!!!!!
