VIDEO: Wait…There's a Love Story In Disney World's Star Wars Hotel?

We’re getting ready to go on a spaceship cruise to a galaxy far, far away.

That’s right, Disney World’s Galactic Starcruiser is about to make its “maiden voyage” soon, but there is still a lot we don’t know about the 2-night interactive adventure Disney has planned for guests. However, there is now a NEW video featuring footage taken from inside the hotel, along with some new details about what’s going to happen on board.

In the video, we get a sneak peek of what the inside of the Galactic Starcruiser actually looks like. But we also learn about a few more details. We’ve already been given some information about activities on board the Halcyon (that’s the name of the ship), but we’re excited to learn more about its backstory.

But, wait, did you hear that? There’s a love story onboard? We’re not sure, but this could be referring to the novel Star Wars: The Princess and the Scoundrel, which confirms the Halcyon as the location of Leia and Han Solo’s honeymoon. But this love story could also refer to an event that happens in the story during guests’ stays — we’re not given many details here. But color us intrigued….

Other, upcoming books will also cover some of the backstory of the ship, including the upcoming Halcyon Legacy comic series and The High Republic: Mission to Disaster novel. The video reiterates that the experience will allow guests to create their own story within the story that takes place on the ship.
