Although many of us are huge Star Wars fans, not everyone feels comfortable being part of the action! And that’s ok, because today, we finally have an answer to people’s burning question: Do I have to be part of the Star Wars story?

Disney Imagineers have dubbed the experience as “something that goes beyond anything Disney has created before,” allowing guests to choose their own destiny within the Star Wars universe.

But for those of us that prefer to observe from a distance, Disney Imagineers explained that “you don’t have to participate if you don’t want to.”

Based on what Disney explained, the new Star Wars hotel will cater to ALL members of the family– including both those who know every detail in the galaxy and those who are less knowledgable in the Star Wars lore.

Disney Imagineers pointed out, “This has to be fun for people who love Star Wars, but also for the people who love the people who love Star Wars.” In short, “You can be as casual about this as you want or dive as deeply as you want to.”

If some in the family prefers to “hang out in a tracksuit and sip a space cocktail,” they are free to do so! But, for the fully committed Star Wars fans, full costumes are permitted, and there will be plenty of activities and opportunities to engage with the story.
