Many families are flocking to Disney World and other popular Florida destinations for a break from everyday reality — and it looks like the latest tourism numbers support that too!

Florida is an extremely popular tourist destination — boasting white sand beaches, incredible national parks and wildlife, and of course — theme parks like Disney World!

According to a press conference held by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Florida had 30.9 million visitors from October to December 2021, making it the second consecutive quarter with pre-pandemic tourism levels!

In addition, the Florida Governor stated that “nearly 118 million Americans visited Florida” in 2021 — the highest number of domestic travelers in the state’s history. This is a drastic change from the drop in tourism numbers Florida suffered due to the pandemic in 2020.

We’ve seen heavy traffic throughout Disney World so far during 2022, and it’s possible that will continue through the year as restrictions are lifted and more park offerings return. Be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest updates and news!
