Splash Mountain Reopens After Refurbishment at Magic Kingdom

To keep the magic alive, Disney World will periodically close rides to give them some much-needed TLC. After all, these attractions provide magic to millions of guests a year, so they’re bound to need a little touching up from time to time.

Today, the classic Magic Kingdom flume ride reopens after its month-long refurbishment and we can’t wait to re-experience it, in all of its shiny new glory!

Splash Mountain has officially reopened to take guests to their Laughin’ Place and journey along with Br’er Rabbit, Br’er Bear, and Br’er Fox in their adventure and mishaps. As of this morning, the current wait time is at 25 minutes.

We stopped by to check it out — and guests were already getting in line to ride.

Splash Mountain is a fan-favorite with zippy songs and nostalgic scenes; it’s fun to ride it again.
