Today is the first day of Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, and we’re bringing you along to experience the new entertainment, food, and merchandise.
We knew it would be a busy day, but we were still surprised by the wait times for this Disney World feature that usually helps you SAVE time. Here’s what you need to know if you’re visiting Disney World soon.
Mobile Order is a useful Disney World tool that allows you to order and pay for food in the My Disney Experience app. You can select a window of arrival times and pick up your food right from the mobile pick up window. The line is usually much shorter and it’s a pretty smooth process.
Still, sometimes the process is a bit…rocky, and today was one of those days. At Friar’s Nook in Magic Kingdom, we waited 50 minutes to pick up our Mobile Order of the Wild Toad Brat Burger.
And at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, we waited for a whopping 1 hour and 40 minutes to pick up the Mission to Mars Burger via Mobile Order.
Keep this in mind when you place your Mobile Order in Disney World, especially if you’re visiting sometime over the next few days. You’ll want to make sure to plan well in advance, and consider mobile ordering awhile ahead of time instead of waiting until you’re hungry.
Stay tuned with AllEars for all your 50th anniversary coverage in Disney World!
