In the past few years, Disney World has had some major technological advancements!

The My Disney Experience app is now more of a necessity for your trip, with Mobile Order, wait times, maps, virtual queues, and more all built-in. Couple that with the recent launch of Disney Genie, and you’re holding a lot of power in the palm of your hand! And if you’ve been using Disney’s new MagicMobile option, then you’ll be happy to know that it’s getting a level-up as well!
MagicMobile was rolled out earlier this year as a way to use many of MagicBands’ extensive features on your smartphone. This system is available on iPhones, Androids, and even your Apple Watch. You can use MagicMobile to enter the parks, get your PhotoPass photos, and scan into Lightning Lanes around the park, but now there are more features!

First of all, there are new virtual card designs in honor of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. You may spot fan-favorite characters like Mickey, Figment, and Olaf as options within your account, all made to look like their Disney Fab 50 character statues. But that’s not all! You can also now use MagicMobile to charge purchases to the payment card on file at your Disney hotel room during your stay.

Stay tuned to AllEars for more news and updates from Disney World, including all the details on the latest in-park tech!
