It seems like there is always something to discuss when it comes to Southwest Airlines, and today is no different!

They are always making headlines, and now it is because of an interesting new perk. So if you love wine, this one is for you!
Southwest has just announced a Sip and Ship perk that will allow passengers to check a case of wine for FREE when flying from select cities!

This means savings of $45 checked bag fees per customer! This promotion is extremely interesting and seems to be focused on locations where guests are likely to be returning with wine.

As an example, Southwest notes that guests returning from Wine Country can travel stress-free! Here’s how to take advantage of this perk:
- Book a flight that is running this promotion.
- Pack the case of wine, but don’t seal it.
- Get your case inspected and checked at the gate.
- Get on your flight stress-free

This promotion is limited to one case per passenger, and passengers must be at least 21. This perk will run on select flights from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California.

This perk is so interesting and a great option if you’re planning on returning home from your travels with some wine! We always make sure to keep you informed of all Airline perks and news. Stay tuned with All Ears so you never miss anything!
