Disney is changing the game when it comes to technology for its parks as Imagineers create a walking Baby Groot, a REAL lightsaber, and massive robotic exoskeletons, amongst others.
And, Disney will also be dreaming up NEW technology that you can access whenever you’re at home!
Disney has announced that it will be pairing with Amazon to create a new, interactive feature on the Alexa technology! Whether guests are at home or staying in a Disney Resort, they can say “Hey, Disney!” to connect with their favorite Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars characters through an Echo device.
“Hey, Disney!” will have “authentic character voices, unique audio environments inspired by our films and destinations, and more than a thousand magical interactions to discover,” according to Disney. While the technology is currently a work in progress, lots of surprises will be in store for Disney fans when it’s released!
