Almost all of the Disney World hotels have reopened again, except for a few that will reopen before the year ends.

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is already open, but now another All-Star hotel is coming back. Today we’re heading to Disney’s All-Star Music Resort to check out its grand reopening and see if anything’s changed!
Our first stop, of course, is the lobby!
Lobby and Check-In Area
In the lobby area, we saw some balloons at the front concierge desk to celebrate the resort’s reopening.

You can see the resort’s theming well represented in the wall art, which has outlines of Disney characters and others playing music and singing. The desks also have music note decorations on the front.

You could check in at the registration desks, or you can use the direct-to-room service by checking in via the My Disney Experience app.

There was a sign explaining how to use the direct-to-room service in case you’re not familiar with it.
There were also several activities available in the lobby, including a Guitar Hero machine, a TV playing cartoons…

…and a giant Mickey headphones photo op!

In the main building at All-Star Music you’ll also find some dining and shopping options. Let’s visit those next!
Dining and Shopping Options
We headed through the lobby and back to check out the food court and gift shop areas.

The dining hall at All-Star Music is called Intermission Food Court. Right now the Disney website only has breakfast listed for the food offerings, which includes things like bagels, Mickey waffles, and breakfast platters with eggs, sausage, waffles, and potatoes.
However, if you check through the My Disney Experience app, the app shows the lunch and dinner menu. The lunch and dinner menu features items like pizza, burgers, and salads.

Need to grab a souvenir or two during your stay? You can check out Maestro Mickey’s Gift Shop for all your Disney shopping needs!

Along one hallway in the main building, you can see pictures and art from famous singers and bands.

There are also displays with pictures and more from singers like Selena Gomez…

…and Queen.

After checking out the lobby and main building, we headed out the doors to see what’s going on outside! There’s one set of doors in this area that leads out front to the Disney buses…

…but we took the ones that take you out the other way, further into the resort area and over by the pool.
Pools and Outdoor Areas
All-Star Music has a large main pool called the Calypso Pool. If you’re looking for a place to relax and soak up some sun, this is a spot you’ll want to check out.

Near the Calypso Pool, we spotted the Singing Spirits Pool Bar, which has a variety of beverage options available, including smoothies, beer, wine, cocktails, and frozen drinks.

If you’re looking for another pool, All-Star Music also features the smaller Piano Pool in another part of the resort.
One area by the Calypso pool was blocked off for construction when we stopped by, so just be on the lookout for that during your visit.

If you’re looking for other things to do at All-Star Music, you can also check out the hotel’s arcade, jogging trail, or even watch some movies under the stars at night.
Transportation
From All-Star Music, the only Disney transportation option is the Disney World buses. There’s a big bus stop out front, where you’ll find separate lines for each of the Disney parks, plus some bus options for the water parks and Disney Springs.

And that’s a look at the reopened All-Star Music Resort. We’ll be sharing a look at our room in this hotel soon, so be sure to check back with us for a full room tour.
