Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been undergoing some big changes over the past year!

As part of an ongoing refurbishment, the hotel reimagined their guest rooms with a new Moana theme, with the rooms opening to guests this July. The Monorail station at the resort has remained closed as construction has continued on the building, but guests at the hotel will be thrilled by the newest development today!

Guests of the Polynesian can reach the Monorail station through the Great Ceremonial House, with contactless security scanners in place for anyone looking to board.

We’ve seen how the new colorful panels on the Great Ceremonial House look from the outside…
…and they add a beautiful touch from inside the Monorail station as well!

The colorful touches continue onto the roof as well connecting the lobby to the station.

We’ll keep you updated on all the latest as construction continues at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, so stay tuned to AllEars!

I never once in all my visits to WDW ever said to myself they really need to update the monorail station at the PVR. It was kind of timeless and quite lovely as is was.
That’s great! Now, when will Kona cafe reopen?
Been open for months already
Had breakfast there in July
