It Will Cost You MORE to Dine at This Underrated Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

It’s no secret that vacationing to Disney World can be expensive, and every once in a while things get a little pricier at restaurants and shops around the parks and resorts.

We’ve recently seen price increases on spring rolls in Magic Kingdom, MagicBands, spirit jerseys, and Wishables. And, now another Disney World restaurant has rolled out some price increases over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Yak and Yeti Restaurant is located in the Asia area of the park and serves Pan-Asian food like Wok dishes, noodles, and rice items. And today, we noticed quite a few price increases on the restaurant’s Lunch and Dinner menus.

Under “Small Plates,” Pork Pot Stickers and Pork Egg Rolls now cost a little more with the price increasing from $11.29 to $11.49. And, the Wok-Fried Green Beans also went up from $11.79 to $11.99.

Plus, one “Shareables” dish has also increased in price — the Ahi Tuna Nachos are now $18.99 (they were previously $18.79).

Under the restaurant’s “Soups and Salads,” the option to add a half portion of soup or salad to any entree now costs $4.99 (up from $3.29).

In addition, the Wonton Soup has gone up slightly from $7.29 to $7.99, while the House Salad increased from $8.79 to $9.99. And, the Seared Tuna Salad is now $20.99 (it was $19.99), while the Chop Chop Chicken Salad went up from $17.99 to $18.99.

Disney also adjusted some prices under the “Noodles and Bowls” section of the menu and now the option to add Tofu to the Vegetable Lo Mein costs $4.99 (it was previously $4.79).

Plus, under “Chef’s Specials,” the Coconut Shrimp increased from $25.79 to $25.99 and the Kobe Beef Burger Entree has gone up from $20.99 to $21.99.

Some sides have seen price increases too including the House Fried Rice which is now $13.99 (up from $13.79, the Chicken Fried Rice which is now $9.99 (formerly $9.79), and the Garlic Noodles which is now $12.99 (up from $12.79).

Finally, the Kids’ Menu now has price increases across the board with all of the Kids’ Entrees now costing $10.99 (instead of $10.79) and all Kids’ Desserts now costing $4.99 (these were previously $3.99 each).

So keep these new prices in mind if you happen to have an existing reservation for Yak and Yeti Restaurant. And if we see any other price increases, we’ll let you know so stay tuned!
