It’s no secret that Disney World can get pretty crowded depending on the time of year that you’re visiting.

And, the parks have certainly been filled with guests since the summer travel season began around spring break this year! But, we’re starting to see the crowds calm down as we head into the fall season and we’re bringing you a look at just how busy (or not busy) the parks are today!
We made our way into Disney’s Animal Kingdom bright and early this morning and were surprised to find that there weren’t too many people going into the park with us! There was plenty of room to spread out and get a picture with the Tree of Life as your background…

…and, even the walk around the park was pretty sparse in terms of crowds.

We continued to make our way towards the back of the park anticipating that we may have just missed everyone headed to the big attractions, but lines for food, stores, and even attractions remained pretty low if not non-existent.

And, by noon, the rides that normally have an expected wait of at least an hour (like Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest) still only had lines that took between 15 to 55 minutes to get through.

But, it wasn’t just Animal Kingdom that had lower crowd levels, wait times for rides at Magic Kingdom were almost all below 30 minutes…

…and the maximum wait you’d experience at EPCOT was 40 minutes for Test Track.

The most “crowded” park seemed to be Disney’s Hollywood Studios, though the lines were still on average much lower than we’ve seen over the past few months for popular attractions.

A dip in crowds like this does tend to occur in late August and early September as kids go back to school, but it may not last long as the holiday season quickly approaches. Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye on how busy the parks are in the coming weeks, and in the meantime stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney news and updates!
