You’re Looking in the Wrong Place for Walt Disney World’s BEST Snacks

Many of us have heard allll about Disney World’s classic snacks. If you want a Dole Whip or Mickey Pretzel, you probably know where to go! These snacks are fan-favorites for a reason: they taste good and are just so quintessentially Disney.

But what if you’re looking for something a little outside of the box?

There are a lot of underrated snacks spots in the parks and resorts, and many of them have hidden eats tucked away that you need to know about.

We’re sharing the best snacks you’ll find in some surprising Walt Disney World locations!

Kringla Bakeri og Kafe

This bakery in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion serves up fresh-baked pastries, sandwiches, and more — all with a Norwegian twist! And while most items on their menu are a pretty solid choice, the most popular pick by far is that School Bread.

School Bread

This treat is a sweet roll filled with custard and dipped in coconut (warning: it is heavy on that coconut). And it’s GOOD. Grab it for $4.49 and enjoy!

Karamell-Küche

Meanwhile, in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion, Karamell-Küche is worth a stop. If the scent alone doesn’t draw you inside, the idea of caramel-inspired treats like cookies, cakes, and candy might.

Caramel Popcorn

Now, one of our favorite eats here is the famous Caramel Popcorn. It’s made onsite using Werther’s Caramel, and it’s the perfect blend of salty and sweet. Swing by and ask for a sample — or snag an entire bag!

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

Now we’re hopping over to the France Pavilion, where Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is tucked away. This makes a great stop for a quick breakfast, light lunch, or tasty treat.

Croissant Salé (Eggs, Cheese and Bacon Croissant)

You can choose from pastries, sandwiches, soup, and more — most for under $10! Not to mention, there’s a massive baguette for only $3 that makes the perfect shareable snack.

Mr. Kamal’s

On to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! In Asia, you’ll find Mr. Kamal’s, an unassuming kiosk that sells some of our favorite fries on property.

Mr. Kamal’s Fries

Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries have a great flavor and come with dipping sauce options like saffron aioli, honey kimchi ketchup, and Tandoori honey mustard. Not to mention, for only $5.99, the portion size is pretty big. Other eats up for grabs here include chicken dumplings and hummus!

Pongu Pongu

And at Pongu Pongu, you’ll find one of the most overlooked (and controversial) snacks in the parks: Pongu Lumpia. These pineapple cream cheese rolls are typically a love-it-or-hate-it eat, but we definitely recommend giving them a try.

Pongu Lumpia

If they’re not your thing, you can try one of the specialty sips here! We love the Night Blossom, which comes in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties.

Sleepy Hollow

In Magic Kingdom, we often stop for a meal at Sleepy Hollow! For breakfast, one of our favorite eats is the Fresh Fruit and Nutella Waffle Sandwich. It makes the perfect start to our day in the park.

Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich

Sure, that Nutella Waffle Sandwich may not be too underrated — in fact, it’s a very popular pick! If you want something a little more under-the-radar, opt for the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich. It’s $10.49 and is topped with broccoli slaw and a honey-sriracha glaze. You’ll also get a side of house-made chips!
